Angry Orchard OMG!!!!!! ehem .. I mean ... that's nice. :) I've never tried Strongbow; I have a feeling my bar budget just went down the tubes though. I'm also looking forward to this local brew everyone is all excited about.

Strong bow is more of a dry cider, less sweet, and such...

I couldn't tell you much about Strongbow to be honest. I'm not really a cider fan, although I've heard good things about Angry Orchard.

I agree that more Dark beer is needed (I don't like Guinness or most commercial stouts) as I love my porters. Although I guess the dark beer isn't as fitting with the hot weather.

Love love beer.

Give me a Fullers London Porter and I am a happy man. The hot weather never bothers me in the casino :>)

Oh what great news!!! I've got cans of Fl Cracker and Invasion in frig now! Hope they move it to a draft status. Prices should be in line with Sierra Nevada Pale, similar size. Maybe they'll eventually offer Jai Alai or Madura as well. Puppy Porter would be a nice additional but I think it's seasonal.

Jai Alai and Maduro Brown are my favorite Cigar City Beers!!! So looking forward to this! (And, yes, many craft breweries are putting in cans)

I have noticed, more and more Craft Breweries are putting their beers in cans... possibly to capture the hipsterness of BPR...

They put the beer in cans because its the only way keep the beer from skunking. If its in a bottle, even extrememly dark bottle it can skunk rather quickly.

Also Florida Cracker is good, and Invasion is alright, I really wish they had worked out a way to get Jai Lai on board. That is the one of the best beers ever brewed and come April I hope to get a couple of bottles of Hunaphu on board but I doubt that will ever happen.

CCB FTW!

Florida Cracker and Invasion Pale Ale were $5.69 per can and $15.99 a bucket on the Breeze last week.

Thanks for this, glad to hear they serve them in buckets as hubby and I can manage 2 each in one sitting.

Really good price too!

Hoping they have lots on the Legend since its sailing from Tampa and everything. :)

$5.69 is that for a 12oz can, if it is I don't think that is a good deal especially when a 19 oz. glass of bud light is about $6.00 or maybe even a thirsty frog.

That's actually a really good price, I live in the tampa area where Cigar City is everywhere, and pretty much any bar you go to they are $5-$7. Also a 6 pack at the local walmart grocery store is just under $11 with tax so on a boat where you have no way of getting a decent beer and being charged under $6 is a steal. Especially considering Bud Light is usually $2-$3 per beer at a bar and they're doubling that for a few extra ounces? It may be a bad deal drinking Cigar City if you like terrible beer, but I'm ecstatic I no longer have to drink only Jack and Coke while on board and can enjoy decent, well made beer.

Bud light is swill. I can get a 20oz draft of it at the local wing joint for 4 bucks. And I wouldn't even pay that much for it. A good craft beer is USUALLY worth what the cost is.

Yes, $5.69 a can that includes gratuities. I will take that all day!

Well as you can see from my post I am not a big drinker besides being from CT where every thing is expensive it is hard to find bud light for $2-3 per can.
