Carnival now NCL???

Rumor has it smoking will be banned on balconies on NCL and limiting smoking in casinos from my perspective it seems to me that a lot of gamblers smoke. Will this effect your cruising?

From my point of view it will improve mine. I've had cigarettes thrown on me twice from a balcony above us. I got more than even with one of them. LOL. This will also make the casinos more enjoyable for me.

I myself am at about my limit for tolerating the smoke in the casino on NCL ships. I don't smoke and it it really bothers me now more than ever. I limit myself to 1-2 hours usually at a time in the casino because of smoke. If more people pile in to smoke I may have to avoid it. Unfortunately I will lose my comps as well. I give the casino good plays when I am there. Usually 2 hands of blackjack at $100-500 each or a big spread on the craps table.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO GeriC: It won't affect my cruising since I don't smoke. All of the Carnival owned lines are pretty strict about smoking. Celebrity Cruise Line is also strict about smoking. The best of luck to you in and out of the casinos.

Makes scents, whoops I mean sense, to me. When Foxwoods casino first opened they had several different casino and one was a non smoking one. Just as long as the dice are smoking.

Royal ships have smoking and non-smoking sections within the same casino. However, since they have banned smoking on balconies, smokers congregate in the casino and take over the bar. Ventilation is not sufficient to make a difference between smoking and non-smoking areas.
