Consecutive Cruisers ??

Recommended Posts

Did you get any other perks?

Thanks!

For doing a B2B? Not really. At the meeting they offered to book anything for the second cruise. I suppose that if I had not already booked my entertainment for both cruises, they would have done that for me. I don't know if they could have gotten me into "full" performances or not. (can they override? I don't know) If I had wanted dining reservations, they would have made them for me.

As I guess you know, the best "perk" is the nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah as everyone else leaves and you don't.

Oasis/Allure more than other ships does not really give you time between cruises when you have the ship to yourself. As a matter of fact, the B2B'ers are not always the first let back on!

ETA: Like other ships, you can access your cabin before the 1 P.M. "opening" time for the peons/rest of the passengers. ;) :D

On oasis. First b2b. Do we have to exit the ship between 1st & 2nd cruise

Yes, briefly, if your cruise is based in the US.

Yes. You will meet in the appointed place (you will get a letter in your cabin), an officer will escort you off. You will show your passports to a Customs/Immigration Officer. You will wait until someone tells you that you can reboard.

We are looking forward to our first B2B in March, and that will be one of my perks.

On the Oasis class the first on are the B2B cruisers. Having watched them from the suite waiting area the 10 times we have sailed that class we quickly learned, after the second time, to grab our items after they filed through the gangway glass return doors. As right after them follows the suite, Pinnacle and the following guests. They might/could/can do it differently on other ships but for the Oasis class they seem to hold firm for my described method.

Another of the great perks you make note of.

One of the other things we are looking for ward to is the quiet time around the ship. I would almost want to grab a coffee at Starbucks and watch the old cruisers disembarking and the excited new cruisers embarking. You could see it all in an hour, sadness to happiness.

I can't wait for our first B2B.:D

Grab your coffee early. Most services are closed until the new guests start to embark.

Love it. A B2B is still on our list, but I sort of did see this look on Sunny AZ Girl's face as we were getting off of Jewel last May :D

They don't kick you and all your stuff off the ship after the first cruise. :p That's a pretty big perk (just ask the disembarking passengers). But otherwise, not really. You do get another "free drink" event (like meet the Captain, art auctions, welcome back, etc.), but you have to sit through the meeting.

Perks are not a reason to do a B2B.

Wish I knew. Some goofy US procedure. I think at Tampa, the US agents would sometimes come on the ship so the B2B guests did not have to leave, but the guests still had to see the agents.

Is there a special meeting we need to attend to explain what B2B need to do

You should get a letter in your stateroom towards the end of the cruise with any details, including if they would like you to attend a meeting. Some ships have a meeting, some don't.

That reminds me. Early on the first cruise, go to Guest Services and ask them to confirm you are on the B2B list. Sometimes they miss people, and it can lead to confusion if you have not heard anything by turnaround day.
