Celebrity provide kettles on ships when sailing out of the UK so if you are traveling soon from the UK you will be in luck.

Ice is provided by your steward daily (or twice daily if requested) so you will still be able to have chilled drinks on the balcony! ;)

If this is your first time with a kettle in the room, other things to remember.

On the Eclipse once we had 'designer' mugs in the room. Ones brought down from the buffet were much better (remember spoons too as I think you get little stirrer sticks).

Get a carton of milk from the buffet each morning. It will be fine for next mornings tea/coffee in the 'fridge' and miles better than 'creamer'.

Bring down tea bags/ coffee sachets from the buffet if there is a particular one you like.

Bring down a couple of hot chocolate sachets. Even if the weather is good, it can warm you up on the balcony if it gets a bit nippy in the evening.

Have fun

Simon
