dancebluecat Posted July 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2014 We are looking to do a second cruise next year (even before we have done our first cruise which is in 10 days time) - we want to do 7-9 days Western Med to include if possible Monaco, Majorca or Corsica, or Rome. Hopefully around £1500 per person for a cabin with balcony. We are cruising with Celebrity this time but they dont appear to do many West Med cruises so looking for an equivalent - any ideas gratefully received - we will be a group of 9 to include 2 teenagers - so some young people entertainment etc would be great - thanks everyone
Velvetwater Posted July 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) P and O, Thomson, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian have routes like that I think. Although you might be in a similar predicament to me. I keep looking at the British lines (PandO and Thomson) and I am not sure if I will enjoy them after my americanised Carnival experience. Rome and Majorca are pretty easy to hit within the same cruise it seems but Corsica seems a bit more difficult. If I remember rightly I am sure I have only seen the 2 British lines above mention it on their voyages. jocap Posted July 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2014 This year, P&O's Ventura is visiting Corsica in her fortnightly cruise from Venice to Genoa. Next year the ship doing that route will be Oceana although I don't know if the ports will be exactly the same. You can do the full fortnight or just one week Genoa- Venice, or the return. This is a fly cruise, so P&O will be using chartered aeroplanes for cruisers only.

Rare Essiesmom Posted July 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2014 Got to http://www.cruisetimetables.com, and from the second list of ports (destinationa), choose the ports you want to visit, then the time you want to be there. It will tell you who calls there, and their itineraries. EM
