Beach in Maui?

We will be on Star Princess docking in Lahaina in early March. Any beach suggestions?

Thanks for your response.

Ka'anapali Beach is about a $12 cab ride or a $2 shuttle bus ride from the back of the Wharf Cinema Center near the tender pier. However when ships are in port I've read that there are long lines for the shuttle bus and thus a cab may be a better option.

In the middle of the Ka'anapali Beach hotels is the Whalers Village shopping center with restaurants (we like Hula Grill's Barefoot Bar) and shops plus a free whaling museum. Activities such as parasailing and jet skis are not available during whaling season but not positive if that includes March. On the north end is Black Rock which when the conditions are right is a good snorkeling location.

Aloha
