first_time_dav Posted July 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I noticed on a YouTube video of the Royal Promenade on the Indy that there is an ATM there. Does anyone know if there is a charge to use it? I'm thinking most likely. Also, I assume on a European cruise it will be dispensing Euros. Am I right? I do know that it is out of order from time to time. We try to find a bank ATM in port.
uksimonusa Posted July 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I seem to remember on our Euro cruises that the ATM dispensed US$, as that is the currency used onboard

cb at sea Posted July 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Cheaper to withdraw cash from your bank...bring it with you, and store it in your cabin safe. Redeposit what you don't need....no fees at all!
PompeySailor Posted July 29, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2014 ATM fee we incurred for a transaction was $6.00 There is also an ATM in the casino:)
TBone2K Posted July 29, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 29, 2014 The casino will also allow you to take cash out against your seapass account, but IIRC they charge you 3%. If you need Euros for on-shore, better to bring Euros with you from home as you will normally get a better Exchange rate at your bank than on-board or using a European bank machine.
