Does Jewel of the Seas have at least 1 Adults only pool

I believe Jewel still has the pizza place inside the Solarium.

Yep, they still had pizza last time we were onboard, hopefully they still do! It tasted ecstatically good after waking up from a lazy nap. Go figure. ;)

The Solarium was one of my favorite places on the ship. The soft loungers were super comfy (definitely took a nap or two in there), the roof and decor kept it pleasantly shady (I don't like to tan/broil in full sun), staff came by every so often so cold fresh drinks were always available without me having to move my lazy bum an inch, and pizza close by! How can you top that??

My goodness, I can't wait to be back!

I love the Solarium photos and am looking forward to our cruise on Jewel, our smallest ship yet. I'm disappointed that there isn't a restaurant nearby like on Allure. My sister and I spent all our pool time at the Solarium and had lunch there as well. I'm afraid that I was spoiled with that convenience. BUT I will keep an open mind and enjoy every minute of Jewel.:D

The Jewel does have a small snack area with sandwiches, pizza etc in the Solarium. It used to offer some delicious crepes but those disappeared a few years back. The other Radiance class ships now have a Park Café located in the Solarium.

In 2012 it was the worst pizza I ever had, I don't remember seeing in this year, but maybe I avoided it :) now, that I think about it, I probably did avoid it, because in 2012 you could food in the solarium late at night, even if it was bad pizza, but it was shut down after 10pm on my May cruise. (No pools or hot tubs open)

Is just the pool inside the Solarium a kid free zone or is the entire Solarium an adults only area?? This Solarium is sounding like the best spot on the ship for us about now!!!!

Its technically a kids free zone, but some kids pass through from one end to the other, or you may see them come in for a moment and check in with adults. It's always been quiet and relaxing in there for us.

Hi...do you or anyone else happen to know what time it is open? I believe the only thing open later (after dinner) is the seaview cafe. Just wondering if pizza and sandwiches are available too?

The timing can vary day to day. Check your Cruise Compass for operating hours.

The Jewel solarium was very nice. Easy to sit on the side and read so I could periodically dangle my feet in the water or sit lazily with a drink in my hand....how nice. It would have been nice to have the retractable roof open a little bit each day....but I just moved to a regular pool or was in the direct sun enough on excursions. The lounges were wonderfully padded, which also was nice.

The small food café, was OK, had enough to choose from, so I did not have to venture to the WJ if I did not want to.

I liked this Solarium much better than the Solarium on Allure. The Allure Solarium was noisy and had very little shaded areas. The Solarium Bistro, had nothing of interest to eat for me and DH.

Here is an album of the Jewel from our cruise last year.

OMG!! These are great photos!! Thanks so much for sharing them with me.. I think my Fiance is going to love trying her luck in the Casino!! These photos are amazing.. I think we are going to be very happy with our choice of ship. We wanted to try a smaller ship because we were not sure if we would like cruising or not or how we would feel on a huge ship with over 5,000 people on it. We tend to enjoy smaller settings so I think this ship will be a perfect way for us to test the waters.. LOL.. so to speak and see how we like cruising. I barely remember my Carnival Cruise I took back when I was in college way back in 1989/90 except that the Alcohol was free at the time.. so even for me this is still going to be a brand new experience.
