I believe that is where they store the washing structure.

Thanks, Bob. That is what I thought but needed that picture to confirm. Doesn't look like a big deal and the price is right.

We have stayed in 8164 ( port side) on sister ship Brilliance but the principal is the same.

The ladder does not block your view.

I have searched through my photos . One is of Serenade exterior and the others are from cabin 8164 on Brilliance. Apologies for the poor quality,:(
