How Difficult Is It To Get A Cab from Black Falcon Terminal?

Hello,

We are renting a car near Boston Logan, & wish to go directly to the agency address at 15 Transportation Way.

Many shuttle options only go directly to the terminals, then we'd need to catch a car rental bus.

We disembarked in Boston a few months ago, and it did not look like cabs were very plentiful.

Also, if using a cab is feasible, will Self Assist Disembarkation be advantageous regarding avoiding long lines for a cab?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you looked into renting a car in one of the downtown locations? Where are you headed once you rent the car?

Taking a cab to a downtown location will be cheaper than trying to get to the car rentals at Logan Airport, but it does depend on where you're headed once you get the car.

We are headed for Salem & Portsmouth, NH post cruise for a few days. Will need to drop the car at BOS to fly home.

All of the car rentals at Logan are at the rental car center. The only way to get there is via the special bus.

Just called Avis at Logan Airport and they say that it is possible to have a taxi drop you off at the new rental car center. You do NOT have to go to one of the terminals and take a shuttle bus.

Good info to know. However, make sure you know how to get there. I tried taking a cab once to the rental car center in Las Vegas. The cab driver had no idea where to go. I would have been better off going to the airport and taking the shuttle.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to obtain this info.:)

We were not sure if there was some airport regulation prohibiting direct access to the rental car center.

Hopefully, the Boston cabbies can do a better job.

Hubby is bringing his GPS along, so perhaps he can help the cabbie with directions if necessary.
