Does Spring break have enough kids?

We cruised Celebrity a few years ago, but without him. It was great!

OK.. We prefer to travel when there are few children on board. Last year we cruised with our grandchildren on Allure in March and there are enough venues for adults to escape when necessary..

When we were on the March Constellation 5 night cruise just prior to Allure, there were few children on board but many spring breakers of College age. It was definitely not the typical family vacation experience.

We generally prefer longer cruises in March so that parents and their children can enjoy ships with shorter itineraries.

It might have been the same cruise or very similar to ours, the college "kids" seemed determined to been seen. Vulgar language, odd behavior, several were booted from the casino because they just could not stop with the swearing. Still had a great time though!

We had a similar thing happen a couple of years ago when we did an NCL cruise with a stop in Nassau. We had a couple hundred kids from UCONN on Spring break on the cruise. For the most part they were pretty good however we did see several of them being carried out of Senor Frogs and through immigration to get back on the ship. It added to our usual pastime of watching all the latecomers running to the ship.
