sunnyretiree Posted August 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hubby and I just booked the Tahiti Oceania Cruise for January 2015. I've been told that once we arrive we will be allowed to embark the ship. This seems very early to embark 7:30AM. Can anyone who has taken this trip advise if this information is correct? Rare Essiesmom Posted August 31, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Are you asking about boarding the ship on arrival in Tahiti? Or debarking the ship at the end of the cruise? Incidentally, there is a forum here for Oceania cruises...under Cruise Lines A-O. Experts there to tell you about Oceania and Marina in particular. Rare LHT28 Posted August 31, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Unlikely unless you are arriving on day 2 ... I would ask on the Oceania forum as many have done this cruise before ...it is not you usual embarkation port http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
dancinman66 Posted September 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2014 Yes all cruise lines on turn around set a time for boarding new passengers and is usually around 11am But as the other poster said of embarking at second day or later then possibly would embark early Sent from my iPhone using Forums
