Kiwi_cruiser Posted September 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Does any one here have a TG-850, TG-835, TG-830 or TG-630?? If so how do you find them?
CWRob Posted September 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I have the Olympus Tg 2. Good p and s camera. Costs a bit more than models you mentioned Sent from my SM-T310 using Forums mobile app
GUT2407 Posted September 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I don't have one but have used TG2 and 830 both gave acceptable results. If got them out of my DSLR wouldn't be happy, but wouldn't want to drop or swim with DSLR either.
ReturnCruiser Posted September 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2014 Does any one here have a TG-850, TG-835, TG-830 or TG-630?? If so how do you find them? We picked up a TG-830 for our upcoming Antarctica trip. I wanted to keep my DSLR in its waterproof pack during zodiac rides. The TG-830 is build quite solid, similar to other TG cameras, takes good photos and has reasonable features for its price point. Bob
Rare mitsugirly Posted September 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2014 I have 2 of the Olmpus cameras and LOVE them both. I have the 620 and the 830. They both work excellent on land, under water and at night. I love the extra options that it has on it, especially the tilt shift. :D
Arizonagirl14 Posted September 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2014 I just purchased the Tg 820. So far I have been happy with the pics I have taken.. I am still learning everything about this model but appears to be fairly user-friendly. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Also do you know if you can turn the GPS off?

Djonemore Posted October 21, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) I'll chime in here, I have a TG-830 and I love it. Battery life could be slightly better, but pics come out great. The MAGIC filters are pretty awesome, night shots are great, indoor shots aren't bad way better then my older Nikon, waterproof sand proof drop proof great for the beach and water. I seen them forsale of Amazon I have full res photos, ill see if I can link them from my Flickr. Edited October 21, 2014 by Djonemore
