Oasis Junior Suite deck 6 or deck 8. Upgrade Gods have called!

You all haven't made this easy. I ended up upgrading to 6248. The cabin is right next to the elevators and around the corner from the Schooner Bar which is one of my favorite hangouts. My only concern is that a portion of the balcony looks to be angled. Does anyone know if I am losing much space on the balcony by selecting this cabin?

Well, yes. The largest JS balconies are mid-hump. The deck plans are pretty accurate for seeing the JS balcony size (and shape).

Hi everyone,

I received an email from Royal Caribbean that offered an upgrade from a D1 to a Junior suite for a 50% discount. The price difference ended up being $810.00 so needless to say I pulled the trigger. My cabin options are on deck 6 which would put me near the boardwalk or deck 8 which would put me outside of central park. Which deck should I pick and why?

Thanks,

Adam

I would pick deck 8 because I wouldn't want to be on deck 6 right above the Promenade- too noisy with their parties & parades..deck 8 only has Central Park above it and that's a quiet area...

Some times I get so confused with these terminology----words, used by RCI.

I have never had an upgrade.

I have had two upsells to crown loft suites.

Would love to have a free upgrade.

But loved the CL for the nominal fee.

Sea Ya

However OP, enjoy.

I received the same email, but was skeptical because the number listed to call has a 999 area code. I thought it might be a scam. I guess not.

"Call (999) 765-4323 to upgrade today for up to 50% off."

Good news, thanks for sharing!

Our email also contained a "wrong #", I called C & A and got the upgrade.

OMG --- I called the C&A number instead and bamm...upgraded to 8644 on the Allure for $550. I am so excited!!!

So now I wonder if we will be offered a Grand Suite if they aren't selling? I can dream...right? :)

Not bad for a JS on Oasis class.:)

Great Cabin... Great Choice!!

On the Allure we had cabin 6252 (2 doors away) and LOVED the location. and that angle out on your balcony means it's BIGGER and you will not be loosing space you will be gaining it!

I say stay were you are with this cabin... Worth it!!

I'd pick 6 because it's within 2 decks of the promenade, boardwalk, casino, ice rink, theater, and central park.

Yep right!

I always choose deck six on Oasis.............with in 2 up or down of most of what you want.....perfect deck.. and you can take the stairs often... spend less time waiting for the lift.

Oh just saw your cabin choice................PUUUUUUUUUUUUUrfecto! Stay put
