Diamond and Diamond + can go to the concierge lounge for Happy Hour

Suite guest can go to the concierge lounge for Happy Hour

Diamond and Diamond + also get three drink voucher loaded to sea pass cards for cocktails each night for Happy Hour at designated bars and lounges

So do suite guest also get to have Three cocktails each Happy Hour in a lounge or bar ?

Or only in the Concierge lounge.

Diamond cannot go to the Concierge Lounge for Happy Hour. That is D+ and Pinnacle in addition to Suite guests. I have never seen any mention of drink vouchers for Suite Guests unless they are also D, D+ or Pinnacle.

It seems the voucher program is a perk for D, D + and Pinnacle. Not suites.

Celebrity gave suite passengers 3 drink vouchers each night. Hoping Royal will as well even though we are Diamond (thanks to Celebrity). Would enjoy going to different bars.

On our next cruise we will be staying in a Grand suite, we are also Diamond, so..... We will have before dinner drinks in the Concierge lounge, after dinner drinks in the Diamond lounge and three free drinks at the venue of my choice afterwards (until 8:30pm). All of that plus a bottle of wine for dinner. I will need to book a stay in the Betty Ford clinic immediately after hitting dry land.

Just off from our Rhapsody cruise where the vouchers were just implemented.

As D+ we could visit either the Diamond or Concierge Lounge or use our vouchers.

 

Our decision became simple as we really enjoy musical entertainment.

 

The vouchers worked quite well when we wanted to listen to live music at the pool or the R-Bar (the bar in the Centrum.)

 

We also visited the Diamond Lounge as the overflow spilled out into the Shall We Dance Lounge and we got to listen to whatever group was playing in that venue.

 

We did not visit the Concierge Lounge other than to meet the Concierge and make use of the priority tender. The CL did not have access to musical entertainment.

 

Thanks, RCCL for giving us options to make us feel comfortable and happy!

Suite guests have the cl. The idea of the vouchers us to clear out the C&a people so there is enough room for suite guests

Just off the Jewel and while the voucher's were available there was some confusion onboard with staff being aware of how it worked and some venues the cash registers weren't programed right...one place in particular was the Seaview Cafe...they had to call to verify our "cokes" were free during certain hours....also some bartenders poured the better quality alcohol...and didn't stick to the guidelines...worked out well for DH but he said he wouldn't have tasted the difference anyway.

It's 3 & 1/2 hours.:)

 

We usually manage 1 hour of drinks before Early dinner, and 1 hour of drinks after dinner.:D

 

If you add in grabbing a drink on the way to dinner, it can be done.

Suite guests have the CL. The idea of the vouchers is to clear out the C&A people so there is enough room for suite guests.

I think that the rules actually state that the Seaview Café, like other eating venues, is excluded from the voucher system.

 

So I think that YOU were wrong, and the servers were right.

I beliive the only venue that is included, besides bars, is the main theater. Restaurants are specifically excluded from the vouchers.

Yes, you can get a drink in the main theater with the voucher.

Nice to know. I tried it on my last cruise (and I went up to the bar in the theater) and was denied. I hope it works better next time.
