Panama Canal RT from Fort Lauderdale

Can someone please tell me when is the best time to do this initerary. We are currently booked for a February trip. Just wondering what the weather would be like. It's the 11 day Ultimate Caribbean stopping In Panama, Costa Rica and Columbia. Thanks.

Panama is only a teensy bit from the equator....it's HOT and HUMID all year round...no kidding...I'm not kidding about the "hot" part! Ft. Laud should be pleasant in Feb...unless there is some far-reaching cold front in place. The odds of that are pretty small. Pack summer clothes.

Actually February is going to be about the "best" time for Panama, Costa Rica and Columbia as that is the Dry Season in that part of the world. Just remember Dry Season doesn't mean no rain, just less rain... there is always a chance for rain, particularly on the Atlantic coast. Coming from a temperate climate I am sure you will notice the humidity:).
