Cruise after repositioning?

When a ship returns from being out of the US- such as being in Europe for the summer- there is usually a USCG and USPH inspection. So I would expect the day to be a bit of a cluster.

I would expect you to have to clear Immigration, but not Customs, if you are on a B2B. Is the FLL stop the start of your second cruise, or Houston?

I think the OP is on the first cruise out of Houston doing the Caribbean. The ship is coming from Europe on a TA and it stops in Ft. Lauderdale as it's second to last stop before arriving in Houston.

We will be on the Emeald Princess out of Houston on its first post trans atlantic cruise. Should we expect delays boarding due to extra customs clearing time and it being the first cruise of the seasonfor the port of Houston?

Very good question. We are also on that same cruise.
