Casino Program Changes

Recommended Posts

We are also showing a balance as of tonight for our free cruise that I booked last Friday. Club Royale said it will take them 5-7 work days to show a $0 balance. Your sail date is next week, much sooner than ours, I would give them a call. They are closed on weekends.

This also happened to us for a previous sailing, we were informed the balance would be $0.00, but now they have to send it to the finance department to process the booking and after 5 days our balance reflected $0.00

We did check everyday:)

Enjoy the free cruise

Happy Days!

No worries. Just make sure the difference is paid in time by Club Royale so u can print your set sail pass

Hello everyone... I can honestly say this has never happened on any of our cruises before. I am just passed final payment, cruise is 10 1/2 wks away. There has been 3 hot deals on my cruise since we booked and the ship is still 1/2 empty. I know normal bookings after final payment you don't get anymore price drops or anything. Just wondering if the casino host might slip me a few extra comps since there probably not many CR people on board. :) the casino will probably be closed by midnight if no one but me is in there. I highly doubt the ship will be booked in 10 wks due to where we are going. Lol.

Give CR a call, you might get an upgrade seeing as no one is taking advantage of the hot deals.

Worth a shot.

FWIW, on one of our cruises we booked through CR, we had paid in full way before final payment was due, and managed to get our price reduced twice.

Granted we were still within final payment window.

Be lucky!

Graham

JS are sold out except for the guarantees. Unless I had a cabin number right off the bat, I wouldn't risk my cabin. It's the largest balcony on the corner of the hump. It'll be in the 50's so we may not use it a lot. But it's there.

I don't know if this is new to the Casino program or not but it is the first time it happened to me :D

This week-end we did a quick 3 day on the Enchantment ... after I checked in with the Casino host she asked if I would like an extra card for my husband  so that his points would be added to my account :)

I SAID sure :-)

This is how we do it when we go to Vegas or Biloxi but never have we been able to add his points to my account on a cruise :)

Good to know:)

Maybe they are starting to pilot or roll out early some of the new benefits

March 15th was the original start date, you are the guinea pigs;)

Any other benefits or noticeable changes you experienced? Thsnks

Happy Days!

What do u mean by an "extra card"?

If I have to run to the cabin or bathroom hubby will start to play using my sea pass. What pisses me off he will loose all my money and walk away from the machine and go play something else with my card. Usually I was on a good streak with it and he jinxed it.

Instead of using your sea pass in the slot machines, I've had the Casino Host make a duplicate card just with my name on it which can be used *only* in a slot machine to track your play/points. This way you'll have no worries of forgetting your actual sea pass in a machine.

I like the way Quantum tracks your play on slots, you just tap your sea pass on any slot machine and the indicator light will turn green, there is no way to insert the card in their machines. And Quantum has what they call a personal banker on their slot machines, for every 1000 points you earn, you can withdraw the $20 in slot play in their machines.

Hmmm. Whose to say you don't tap a machine that someone else is playing? I've seen many many people not using their cards. I could just tap theirs and get the points..

What would you gain by tapping their machine, their points, for what reason?

You'd be getting rated on their play. If they didn't tap the machine then you could tap and steal points.

Of course this would be incredibly awkward and weird.

When people don't play often they don't put the sea pass card in. Several times I've been at a machine and the card is still in there. I'll take it out but I've seen others just sit and play. Until the person remembers they forgot the card and come back. The people who forgot the card have gotten the points off of others. But as said above you can get rated without even being in the casino. For some reason on land and sea people hand me their tickets with cents to a buck or 2. I could easily tap another machine. Anyway... Just seems weird that how Quantum would do it.

I'm guessing they'll explain either in signage or in person, how the "tapping" works, so the vast majority of folks would know how to do it and what it means. If someone came up to my machine (and they wouldn't see a card in the slot since now we're tapping) and it they tapped my machine. I'd "TAP" them. Could it happen? Yes. But I doubt it's going to be much of an issue.

I mean if I were playing and forgot to put my card in the old style machines, and someone stuck their card in even for a second, I'd be in their face. No different than if the tapped and left. Is that a "tap and run?"

Maybe I did not explain the tapping clear. There is a small red square sensor light on the front of each machine that you tap with your seapass or with your WOW bracelet to start earning points.

You would also tap the sensor to end your play. If there is no activity/betting within 5 minutes, the sensor light will turn back to red. The sensor went to red a few times, only when I was in a Bonus round on Quick Hits. The bonus retriggered (20 spins) twice, took longer than 5 minutes and the sensor light went back to red, I had to retap my seapass once the Bonus round was over.

When slot attendants see the sensor light is green and no one is playing that machine, they will log that player out. It is difficult to tap a machine and earn points while someone else is playing that machine because you would be in their face

I had emailed Club Royale about the new program as I had heard the cut off date was March 15 for play toward the new tier level. I am sailing on the Oasis on March 28th. I was told my play would count toward the new tier program as they were still working on the details. I am not sure if this is because I booked the cruise last year. But I am pleased my play will go toward the new tier rating.

Mary

Cut off has now been pushed back until March 2016,

I expect the new program to roll out between now and then, with a few CR VIP members used as guinea pigs. To pilot the extra benefits and test the new program

A few members on CC expressed their displeasure, in a nice way of course to RC with respect to losing considerable amounts of rebate monies.

I guess they listened:)

Be lucky, please let us know of any changes, benefits you are exposed to in a few weeks time.

Enjoy the new VIP area

Happy Days!!

I thought in April they should be mailing out details of the new program. But they keep pushing things back so who knows. I was told March 15 ,2015 was the cut off for ratings evaluations for the new program (I just for off Allure, so I thought that was my last chance to boost my numbers), but perhaps that was pushed back too? I DO know the cash rebate benefits (seems to NOT be part of the new program) WILL continue til March 2016.

I'm sure real soon we will find out more, but for now, nobody at CR knows anything

Just got a letter from Club Royale in the mail this week notifying me of the cash rebate I had accumulated, that the program had been extended until March 15, 2016, that the program was going to be changed and we would be noticed via mail in April of the program changes and tier levels.

I'd be shocked if it were anything much different than the M LIFE program used via the MGM resorts today. Instead of 1 price fits all as it is currently for rooms, the discounts will be based on your tier level. I'm hoping that if you're high enough that you'll be able to go free on a regular basis versus only 1 time a year like you're entitled to now as an m life platinum or noir member.
