ship time or land time for excursion

I booked a tour on Chilkoot Charters in Skagway. I was told to meet at 7:30 a.m. Do they mean their time? Because if the captain says to stay on ship time I would really get off the ship at 11:30 then. I'm confused.:confused:

the times are the SAME. Ship time is Alaska time.

Correct, and your ship will be on the same time.

We stayed confused on times from day to day. Our "smart" phones were not so smart in keeping up with the time changes, especially if you keep them in "airplane" mode. :)

Try doing a manual time set. It does work even in airplane mode.

I agree! Even if it is one of those cheap, never wear again watches. I was going to buy one on the ship but all they had were expensive watches. Next time we cruise I WILL have a regular old wind up watch.
