wilson2579 Posted October 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2014 I have been allocated a superior deluxe balcony cabin on Independence. What is the difference between this and the standard balcony.

Superior: 199 sq. ft., balcony 65 sq. ft. ("D" category) Deluxe: 184 sq. ft., balcony 66 sq. ft. ("E" category) These are the only two balcony categories on Indy. cb at sea Posted October 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2014 The sq. footage is the same, but the furniture may be different, to accommodate the connecting doorway. For instance, in a D cat., the sofa might be a loveseat instead. Not a huge deal, since rarely do 3 people sit side by side on a couch!!
molly361 Posted October 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) What if the staterooms are connecting?;) I don't know- I try to stay away from those Loveseat?? How about the D's USUALLY have a sofa Edited October 18, 2014 by molly361
Clarea Posted October 18, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 18, 2014 I don't know- I try to stay away from those Loveseat?? How about the D's USUALY have a sofa Don't know about other classes, but for Voyager/Freedom, a connecting "D" gets a loveseat instead of a sofa, and a connecting "E" gets a chair instead of a loveseat. wilson2579 Posted October 18, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted October 18, 2014 Thankyou for your replies. On photos I couldn't see any difference. So I assume it is a bigger cabin but a smaller balcony.
