Emtbsam Posted October 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Does anyone know of a hotel in Auckland where we can check in before noon? Many thanks.
Alaskanb Posted October 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Most hotels will store your luggage before their regular check-in time.
MrsGroover Posted November 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2014 We usually ask when booking if early check in is available, especially if early morning flights and only once on all our travels was there any waiting time. They can only say no. When I travelled to NYC we were told check in was 4pm, we arrived at 11am, and after 26 hour flight we went to drop our bags off and were taken straight to the room, I found out later that as I had included arrival time when booking they knew in advance to put the room on early cleaning so I would be able to access it! I guess it depends on bookings, cleaning or just getting someone who cares! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Waihekean Posted November 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Start looking at Auckland hotels through Booking.com. When looking at the hotel pictures and info etc. scroll down the page for the hotel policies and it will list the check-in and out times. Hope this helps:)
rkacruiser Posted November 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2014 I flew into Auckland on an Air New Zealand flight, arriving around 8:00 A. M.. Sky City Grand was the hotel that I had booked through the HAL's pre-cruise hotel package. I had no issues with getting into my room at the time that I arrived at the hotel. Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 4, 2014 Auckland hotels are well used to an early check in , and /or early arrival , as many long distance flights land first thing in the morning , after flying throughout the night.
