Emtbsam Posted October 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2014 A poster on another thread made mention that Silversea's contract with the Artists of Silversea is now over. I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed this group of very talented artists. How can we ever forget Jovani McCleary singing "This nearly was mine" or Kashena's smile. We thank them for the memories and wish them well in their careers.
Rare Silver Spectre Posted October 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2014 The guys and girls got off the Wind today and the Cloud cast finishes next week. You can still catch the Shadow cast for another 6 weeks and those on the Spirit will be there into the New Year. I can only echo your thoughts. Beanjar Posted October 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2014 I agree that they were great - talented and very personable. Who will be replacing them?
Wellseasoned Posted October 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2014 I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed this group of very talented artists. How can we ever forget Jovani McCleary singing "This nearly was mine" or Kashena's smile. We thank them for the memories and wish them well in their careers. They were terrific! Jovani singing "This Nearly Was Mine" and many more for our small group in Panorama on the Cloud is a time never to be forgotten! And I kept telling Kashena that I wanted her to marry my son. Oh, well....
Herman The Cat Posted October 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Ditto to all of the above. As Silver Sceptre said so well, they will be gone but not forgotten. Wonderful talents and individuals. We wish them well in their next chapters/adventures.
Emtbsam Posted October 22, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Great news that they will still be on the Spirit. They are true professionals. Jovani, Anastasia, Kashena and two others were tapped to come back from vacation to be on the Cloud during the National WWII Museum' s charter cruise last June. They were not on the schedule to do any performing since the Museum had a full schedule of lectures during the day and evenings They were just there to fill out the crew, be on board for the subsequent cruise, and I suppose handle emergency operations if needed. Nevertheless, Jovani et. al convinced the cruise director to let them put on a cabaret one evening before dinner, and we were treated to a wonderful show in the Panorama Lounge. Rare jpalbny Posted October 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 22, 2014 Just embarked the Cloud today in Istanbul. They are on board but yes, it is their last voyage... 4 of the 6 were on board with us in August (London to Reykjavik) and it was nice to see them again. No show tonight but tomorrow is Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
