Booking for next year just wondering besides the size is there any amenities you get with a mini suite. Thanks

brentlym Posted October 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2014 If you're interested in the spa thermal suite, Spa minis include access, and are located nearby the Spa entrance. It may not be worth the difference in fare though. It's 199pp for a pass and those are limited.
deburn Posted October 24, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Thanks for the replays just wondering if the extra room was worth the extra money. Been in a suite before just never saw a mini suite
DCP Posted October 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2014 SOME mini suites and balconies have the large balcony. (on decks 8 and 9) which are significantly bigger than the standard balconies. (M6 are the mini, and I THINK the other is B6)
Valen9 Posted October 24, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Thanks for the replays just wondering if the extra room was worth the extra money. Been in a suite before just never saw a mini suite I've been in a mini-suite on Breakaway. During our cabin crawl, we determined that the difference between a balcony and mini-suite is: Larger sitting area, with a slightly larger couch to go in it. More space around the bed, with wider nightstands and a couple inches of empty space around them. More space (less than a foot) between the couch and the desk area. A larger bathroom with a double sink. A shower area large enough for a bathtub, with multiple jets. Some (family mini-suites, mostly) have a bathtub with a single shower head. The balcony is the same size and they otherwise have the same perks.
Rare mitsugirly Posted October 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2014 We just had a mini-suite on the Getaway back in May (category MB). You can find the pictures to them HERE.
roger001 Posted October 26, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Other than the deck 8 minis that have the huge balconies, to me, the differences in the regular balcony rooms and the minis on the Getaway are less than any of the other ships we've sailed. I wouldn't pay extra for a Getaway mini unless it was one of the big balcony ones.
