Comparison of Niew Amsterdam and Royal Princess?

Cannot understand why there is such a price difference for similar itineraries as both are new ships? Help?!

I wouldn't say Nieuw Amsterdam is a new ship. It's been cruising for over 4 years now. Royal has only been cruising for 1 year.

Some times brand new ships get a premium price because they are new and in demand. Oasis and Allure had that situation for a long time...not sure if they still do.

We've decided on Royal......prefer 10 day and itinerary.

So N. Amsterdam is on a 7 day, and Royal on a 10 day. Seems pretty obvious why the Royal is more????

No n. Amsterdam was quoted as 14 day
