how much is cab fare from port of miami to fll airport? approx. how long time wise is the drive? thanks

Drive is around 45 minutes. Fare is metered so time of day can be a factor. I would say around $75.00.

That fare is for the cab - not a bad deal if there are 4 or so travelling together (you may need a van taxi if any in your group pack like my wife :o). Otherwise there are lots of shared shuttle companies with fares starting at about $15 per person.

If traffic is moving, with tip and tax figure close to $100.

 

Over the past year, the only time it has only taken me 45 minutes is in the middle of the night. Otherwise an hour plus.

6 in a van cab plus bags will be a tight squeeze - remember the driver needs to sit somewhere. You might be better with 2 cabs or a shared shuttle.

Pier to pier is not a common trip; some of the shared shuttle companies may do this run, or they may first drop off customers at the FLL airport before taking you to PE. I would also check with Larry's Limos - with 6 sharing it could be a good option.

 

If nothing else works shuttle POM to FLL and then cab to PE - shared shuttle service between POM & FLL is available for about $15 per person from SAS, QLS, MJS, Go Airport and others.
