Mia Airport Disembarkation Day

Hi looking forward to our first ever cruise on the Celebrity Equinox Leaving this Friday from FLL. On the day we disembark our flight from MIA is not until 17.00hrs. International flight back to UK. We have the full Celebrity package booked so they will be providing the transfer from ship so not sure what time we,ll be dropped off at the airport. Would erxpect we would be their by mid morning though. Potentially we have 4-6 hours to kill before going through security and just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for things to do for that time. Neither of us are big shoppers so browsing the shopping Malls does not appeal I see from the MIA website that their is a frequent Metro Transit system. Is their anywhere on those lines worth visiting for a couple of hours? Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Take a look at the shorexs to see whether they have one that provides a tour and an airport drop.

Some cruise lines offer a tour for those on later flights

you may want to check if Celebrity does those

They then keep the luggage on the bus with you during the tour

Thanks , yes Celebrity do a couple of day trips out to the Everglades but unfortunately timing appears a bit tight for our scheduled flight time at 17.00hrs.

Since you are flying internationally i would plan to arrive Miami by 14:30 to give yourself plenty of time to check in for your flight.
