Cellar Masters + Classic Beverage Package

I'm just wondering if the Classic Beverage Package is accepted in Cellar Masters?

Sometimes it pays to just read the cruise line's own web site. Here is a quote about the Classic Package

 

"Beverage packages cannot be used at the in-stateroom mini bar, through Room Service, or at the Enomatic® wine-dispensing system in Cellar Masters."

 

But you might be interested to know that even the more expensive Premium package cannot be used in Cellar Masters with the machines.

I haven't been on board yet but understand from previous posts the machines are pretty much history by now anyway. And packages could be used to order wine by the glass though I gather the classic package did not get you much.

Otherwise, you can order wine from the sommelier by the glass in Cellar Masters, so yes, the packages work there, just not on the machines if they still have the enomatic dispensers.

Kind of weird answer. Question was not if it worked in the machines.

 

Yes, Classic Works. You CAN order from the sommeliers. Just not usel the Machines.

Thee nomadic machines are still on reflection. We just got off on 11/15. Cellar masters has a good regular wine list as well as a good selection of craft brews now that michaels is private.

Just off the Reflection last week. If you want to enjoy Cellar Masters, upgrade to premium and don't worry about the machines. We really enjoyed some better wines.

Just off the Reflection, try the around the world wine tasting cost is 25.00 but well worth it.... There's a great wine from Uraguay, .. if you do this please post the name, it was great and I don't remember the name thanks

Just so the OP knows, the wine tastings are not part of any beverage package and must be purchased separately.

Agree! We love those wine tastings and have done them on several X cruises. They often have some decent offerings and the variety is a lot of fun. It is amazing how much one can "taste" in an hour :)

We also enjoyed the wine tasting. Some of the wines were in the $80 and $100 per bottle range, and the staff readily offered refills until they were gone. Fun time on an afternoon at sea. There was also a champagne tasting that was also really enjoyable.

The classic beveridge package can definitely be used in Cellar Masters. You need to order from the sommelier (or bar area in Cellar Masters on the M-Class ships). Just like ordering elsewhere on the ship your choices will be limited to those available under the pricing of the Classic package.

 

We were on the Connie this summer and spent a fair bit of time enjoying our classic package in Cellar Masters.
