argenta01 Posted November 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) I had an OV cabin and got an upsell to a balcony, which I took. Does anyone know if my FCC amount should change to reflect my new cabin category? I don't remember if stockholder credit is affected by this also. Thanks for any insight on this. :) Future Cruise Length Per Person Shipboard Credit* 17 + Days $125 Inside, $125 Outside, $150 Balcony, $150 Suite 11 - 16 Days $75 Inside, $75 Outside, $100 Balcony, $100 Suite 7 - 10 Days $25 Inside, $25 Outside, $50 Balcony, $50 Suite 3 - 6 Days $15 Inside, $15 Outside, $25 Balcony, $25 Suite Edited November 28, 2014 by argenta01
paul929207 Posted November 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2014 I believe you get the higher amount. Check the Cruise Personalizer. Shareholder OBC is based solely on length of the cruise
Rare JimmyVWine Posted November 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2014 I believe you get the higher amount. That's my understanding as well. If you get a free upgrade, you stay with the benefits (like OBC and number of cruises counting toward loyalty status) that you were entitled to based on what you actually paid. If you purchase a higher level cabin through an upsell offer, you get the benefits of the higher level cabin. After all, you paid for it, albeit at a discount. Pam in CA Posted November 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2014 As long as you book and pay for the balcony vs. oceanview, you get the FCC OBC for that type of cabin.
