Artemis908 Posted December 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2014 When departing the ship, is it faster and cheaper for two people to get a cab vs. taking the cruise line's bus to the airport? Our flight departs at 1:55pm and I am wondering if we should just try to get a taxi since the cruise port is so close to the airport.

With a 1:55pm flight you have plenty of time (unless the ship arrives very late for some reason). I would just catch a cab as the cost should be about $15 plus tip, alot less than the ship's transfers. Plus, you get to the airport faster (not having to wait to fill the bus) and are not in a large group - a mess at the airport sometimes. Lots of cabs around the piers. JohninDC Posted December 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2014 The $15 cab (the price is for the cab, not per person) will be cheaper than the bus for two. With a 1:55 flight you have lots of time - you could even check your bags with the airline and then cab to somewhere fun for an early lunch.
