Oasis free beverages avaiable fantastic....

Just off Oasis and we pondered as all do whether to purchase a beverage package before hand.....we are so glad we did not.....this ship has included beverage choices we've never seen on another ship. They offered a sparkling flavored water in mango/peach, kiwi strawberry or lemon lime flavor at the Park café and Soarium restaurants along with the usual iced teas or water. We would fill up our insulated mugs with this all day long, and sometimes add a fortification to it as well. This ship offers great choices included so I can't see a need for paying extra for a beverage package, unless one drinks alcohol all day long.

I have seen the flavored waters available on other ships. too. I am glad they met your needs. However, I buy a soda package. I drink 3-4 soda a day on the ship. [at home I mostly drink water] You do not need to drink alcohol all day to get a beverage package.

I agree, we have never felt the need to purchase an unlimited beverage package. We used to purchase a bottled water package, but since we've been able to take water on board lately, there's no need for a package.

They also had these flavored waters on Explorer last month, but what I couldn't understand is they were usually warm?

Just off the Quantum and it was free sodas for everyone all week long at the freestyle machines. They had a few of the souvenir cups for people that bought the packages online but none of the bars had any of the cups and there was not table set up to sell the beverage packages.

 

I definitely would not expect this to continue and am certain that it was not planned this way...why they did not have cups totally confuses us! They know the passenger count, they have a track record of how many people buy the packages. Perhaps there was a reason but they did not share that with us. They did not automatically refund people...those that complained got refunds.

These were still, not sparkling, flavored water at that local on our recent Serenade TA cruise but still were quite tasty and we enjoyed this included drink option.;)

Flavored water available at no extra charge on the Freedom last year too, but I thought I remembered it being still water though.

Usually flavored with artificial sweeteners, colors and flavors - which would keep it off my list;)

In addition, they also offered orange juice (not squeezed) on the Serenade Mediterranean cruise last August.

We always get the soda package. Flavoured water is not always around.
