South Hampton dock to SOU airport ground travel?

Will arrive at South Hampton cruise dock early May, 2015 and will need ground transportation to South Hampton airport. Would appreciate any suggestions as to options for that trip (for 4 people). Thanks in advance--

We will be going from the airport to Southampton next year, will check these out. Taxi may work best and easiest.

20 pound taxi ride from port to airport. Done it a few times and will be doing it next year as I find the airport is the best place to pick up/drop rental car from, saves going into Southampton City, can be a bit of a nightmare driving around there . Normally ample taxis waiting at the various Southampton cruise terminals and vice versa at airport. I have never pre booked one. Although you indicate you have 4 people and load of baggage no doubt. The taxis to and from Southampton are normally saloon cars, limited boot capacity, you may need a people mover or station wagon.
