Tipping Casino Wait Staff

I guess that it is expected. The second last cruise I had a big stack of one dollar bills and always tipped a dollar in cash. This most recent cruise, I added in 1.50 on each drink. They give you a slip to sign with the price of the drink showing subtracted, so most times I gave a 1.50. I must say that the servers were very attentive. I had steady and good service from the waiters.

So, either you can tip in cash if you have lots of small bills or you can write it in on the bill.

Of course. Why would you think that not tipping might be an acceptable option?

As Ocean Players Club picks up the tab and the gratuity, the servers are getting tipped regardless of whether or not the guest leaves anything. However, if you want prompt service when using a Drinks On Us card, a dollar each will go a long way when placing future orders.

True. Your glass won't be empty.

I always tip the waiter when I have the drinks on us card. I also tip the waiter/bartender when we have Cheers. I think 15% total of the Cheers package amounts to a small amount of money when we have 6-8 drinks daily. I can't imagine how little the tip is if we drank the 15 drinks. My drinks are usually the $8.95 drinks so IF I had the 15 allowed, it would be basically 50 cents per drink tip which is way little money.

We tip a dollar at least per drink and I am not saying that to brag, as it is still a small amount, but I feel it's deserved, so we do it.

When I had the drinks on us card I tipped a dollar per drink. I also tip a dollar on the free drink at brunch.

When I had the drinks on us card I wasn't sure if the casino also picked up the gratuity and I didn't want to ask so I just added the dollar. If I purchase my drinks I don't add anything above the automatic 15%.
