Alaska by yourself

Any advice on visiting Alaska by yourself? I usually travel by myself (I enjoy travelling solo).

 

When I go on cruises, I usually go with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) since a few of their ships have studio cabins. By what I understand, there are only three NCL cruise ships that visit Alaska (Norwegian Jewel, the Norwegian Pearl and the Norwegian Sun) and none of them have studio cabins.

Your question was for advice on visiting Alaska alone.

Or, do you want advice on which ships have studios?

I'm not sure what you are asking either.:confused: I always sail solo and have

been to Alaska 3 previous times.......I am going back for a 4th time

in May:D......I have been sailing on my own for 11 years.....it is the

only way I cruise.....I love it:).....I cannot answer your NCL questions

though.....I don't sail with them.

If you were willing to do Royal Caribbean, I believe the Radiance of the Sea added 3 single cabins on it's last dry dock work.

 

Radiance usually does north and south itineraries, but there's one next season that is round trip Vancouver in September. That's the one we are booked on.

 

Have fun on whatever you decide. If you join in our your cruises meet & mingle thread, you'll meet lots of friends ahead of your cruise. You may even find out about sharing some tours with them. We are sharing a tour with a couple we met on our meet and mingle thread. Looking forward to our trip.
