Walking Distance Between Hilton & Regal?

From the looks of it on Google maps, just a couple of hops, skips and a jump.....is it a safe walking distance with sidewalks? Looks like just a couple of blocks. Anyone else stayed at the Hilton and walked over to the Regal....with luggage?

If you are at the Hilton Marina, then you can walk over providing the Regal is docked at Pier two or four. There are sidewalks both outside and inside the port. You will be required to show your passports and boarding passes to get through port security at the gate. It's less than a 10min walk. A taxi will only be about $10 plus tip, and I would suggest it. Port Everglades posts pier assignments on their web site 7 days prior.

We've walked between pier two and the Renaissance several times, the Hilton Marina is only another couple blocks, there are sidewalks and a light to cross 17th.

From the Hilton Marina, yes, as stated right across the street from the port.

You would have to be at Pier #2 area. We walk from the Renaissance which is right next door to the Marina. We walked out of the front door of the hotel to walk to the port and there were a bunch of people fighting for the hotel shuttle which was pulling a luggage trailer.

 

As we handed our bags to the porters the hotel shuttle drove up :D.

You will need your boarding pass and ID to show to security at the booth.

 

We have walked from the Embassy Suites and Hyatt Place as well.
