Ft. Lauderdale Hotel

I need a Ft. Lauderdale hotel that has a shuttle to the port. Does not matter if I must pay extra.

 

One where I could see ships would be a plus!

 

Anyone out there with some info?

A cab is only about $10 to the port so I wouldn't book a hotel soley on the shuttle.

Embassy Suites

 

You may have to pay extra for a view of the port.

 

The top of the 17th Street Bridge of the port and the ships is spectacular.

For the suggestions from this board to be meaningful and accurate you need to give us a little more to work on:

*Cruse date?

*Budget?

*Travelling with kids or as a group?

*What time of day do you arrive?

*Flying into MIA or FLL?

*Driving? Rental car? Need parking?

 

 

Lots of hotels in the 17th Street/downtown area in a variety of price ranges, and some include airport and/or port shuttles. http://www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist and lodging info.

Hilton Marina, or Hyatt Pier66 tower rooms are what we have found to have the best views and are nice.
