Worst thing about your cruise ..

Having to search out a particular spot to smoke is a real PITA. Next cruise will be the first since they outlawed smoking on the balcony. Suspect this will be a challenge.

Apparently the casino is the new designated smoking area as someone pointed out earlier in thread

The MDR experience is the worst. It is extremely noisy, busy and is banquet food on steroids. It's a flip of the coin whether hot food will be served cold, cold food will be served frozen (we had creme brulle <sp> once with ice in it).

Having the misfortune of a table mate that was racist, sexist, condescending, potty mouthed, know-it-all, demeaning to staff, drunk, loud speaking, horses #@(% !!! . . . . by the 3rd night, he spent the rest of the cruise sitting alone at a table for 8. The entire table was able to escape with the more than helpful dining staff! They felt our pain, and we felt theirs!

Exactly the reason we prefer either a table for two, or just our family if we're cruising with other family members. Or anytime dining where we can specify the table size we want.

We have done cruises where we were forced to have tablemates and it just makes the dining experience awkward for us as we're not interested in making small talk with people we're never going to see again. We're cruising to enjoy each other's company and relax.

For me, one of the worst things on any cruise is not being able to find a true quiet spot (except for our own stateroom and/or balcony) to read where piped in music is NOT present.

How sad -- but good that the arrangements for everyone else could get changed....the pity is that the offender will never realize it was all his fault. For the staff, they know he does get 'off'.

...............having to put up with the chair hogging, know-it-alls, crew member berating, braggers, bowel dwelling, drunk "Diamond" members in the CL......where they should be banned if not in a suite.......

I agree 100%

I am confused, why do Diamond Members get acess to CL and Diamond Lounge, while Suite guests only get access to CL?

Shouldn't it be CL for Suite only and DL for Diamond only? Or Suite guests and Diamond members with access to both Lounges?

I'm more of a people watcher on a cruise than elsewhere in life. Things that would annoy me on land, I can laugh off and enjoy watching on a cruise. I really hate "know it alls" especially when I know their wrong. I've run into a few of those and just laughed it on. The worst time I have add dealing with another passenger happened only once in 10 years. He accused me of stealing his deck chair which I had been in for 2 hours and he said he was only gone 20 minutes. He actually started threatening violence when his wife spoke up and told him where is seat really was. He had left the solarium on one side and returned on the other confusing himself where his seat was.

Wow, what an idiot. BillOh, I sure hope you at LEAST got an apology from him...you were due that much.

The people that get up at the crack of dawn, everyday, and go up to the pool deck, and put out their towels, use their little clippies, and always have the same spot....everyday. Ohhh that's right...the chair hogs! Doesn't matter if it's a cruise, or not....they are breeding, and are.everywhere...LOL

Also, having to disembark....

By far, disembarkation day is the only bad day on a cruise for me. From vacating our cabin early, the crowd at the buffet (everyone else feeling about the same as me), being herded off the ship to find our luggage and then getting a cab to the airport.....just a bummer after a superb cruise.

The worst thing on our last cruise was the bathroom water being rusty orange most of the trip. They could never fix it and I was afraid to even brush my teeth. To me, the bathroom in general is the worst part of every cruise. The loud flushing sound, specifically.
