cb at sea Posted December 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Whatever weather Florida has....it's about the same. Nassau is NOT in the Caribbean. It's Atlantic weather...cooler than the Caribbean.
DonnaK Posted December 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) We were there on a cruise the first week in January, and it was cold and windy. It was actually warmer home on Long Island that day than it was in the Bahamas! We had to miss the private island because the ship couldn't tender, and did an overnight in Nassau. Bonnie J. Posted December 31, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Nassau's weather is the same as Miami's. We have been there in January & early February when its been chilly, had long pants on. But we have been there when the weather was beautiful but waters are chilly. On Long Island where I spent my summers if the water temp got to 70 it was considered almost hot! So it depends on what temp you want the water to be.
LOVINCRUIZIN Posted December 31, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 31, 2014 We were there last week and it was 80 and sunny. The water was beautiful and only a little cooler than the Caribbean ports we visited.
