I was the one who originally said Pearls....not sure why you cannot wear

them with a Rhinestone shoe.....seems my suggestion has been shot down

Love, love, love the dress!!! I have a different suggestion for jewellery; why not try to find some "aurora borealis" crystal necklace, earrings and bracelets from some thrift shops? Maybe check with some older relatives, they may have some in their jewellery boxes that they would be willing to lend you for the cruise.

One caution because I'm a bit conservative: Are you sure you want to travel with real jewelry? Going out at home is one thing, traveling is something else. Make sure you have great insurance, just in case.

No opinion on what jewelry to choose. I just want to add that I love the dress. It is gorgeous. I wish I had the figure to wear a dress like that.

 

There used to be a famous television actress in the fifties who started every television show by whirling down the stairs in fabulous dresses. This dress reminds me so much of what she would wear. I can just see her grand entrance in that lovely gown the OP has chosen.

Thanks everyone! As long as the colors match, I am definitely getting those shoes. I found this vintage choker that I think will be perfect. I will wear diamond earrings. Sapphire is my birthstone, so I'm sure I will wear it again.
