I decided to pass on this and take a free flight with my nephew to Las Vegas for the 3 days. I could use some warmth in my life right now lol. Have a fun cruise everyone.

 

1 of these years......lol

 

Hi... I am sailing on the 2 night CTN on Breakaway on 1/16 and was told no specialty dinners, or spa passes. I hope you are right & we will get the perks!!

 

I have gotten all of my Golden perks EVEN on the Gem 1 nighters (including Haven check in area, Cagneys etc). I think you got wrong info.

Agreed...I only paid $20 total to upgrade to Spa Balcony from my comped BA

 

Very cool, you will enjoy the spa, I plan on going Saturday morning after I run down to the casino for a few hours (beat the after breakfast people). I may even go Friday, my cousin wont get there until late afternoon so I may just hang in the hydro pool after lunch.

Well, I was booked for my cruise this Friday, filled out the e-docs and everything. When I went to print them out just now, there is nothing to print! The system doesn't recognize the number, and when I called NCL they said it was a cancelled reservation! Awesome news.:eek: :confused::mad:

 

Now, because it's late, I have to wait until tomorrow to find out 1) who cancelled the cruise 2) why it was cancelled and 3) what they gonna do about it.

 

I love junkets, and I love CAS and NCL, so I really hope this gets solved.

On the CTNs, do you know how early on sail away day the thermal area is fully up and running for those with spa passes?

Your kidding, OMG, Did you book through a junket or CAS directly? I hope they get it straightened out tomorrow, they do have some availability as of now. Keep me posted.

Honestly not to sure, this is my 1st 2 nighter on the Breakaway but I would just ask the spa desk when I get to the port, I should be there early so I will post what I find out that morning.

On the GEM CTNs, you get all the perks, including the VIP boarding in the Suite area and access to Cagneys.

 

On the BA CTNs, we don't get VIP boarding in the Suite area or the Cagneys. You do get all the other Golden perks that are still available.

Ok, so I had booked through a junket. I called them first thing this morning and she called NCL. They said it was showing as an automatic cancellation. No one knows why though. I did get re-booked in a Mini-Suite (at the same cost) since there are no more Balcony rooms available. I will just keep my eye on this reservation to make sure it doesn't go bye-bye.

Hi Cathy! My name is Gretchen. I will probably run into you! I like to play the slot machines in the smoking section by the craps table. The quick hits there are the 2 cent ones I believe. I usually run from those to the Deal or No Deal.

 

I usually like the GEM casino, but that's only because they have Banana King. I have the BA casino to be generous enough to keep on playing.
