Hump 9328 vs Aft 1694

Currently have hump 9328 booked on Navigator, but Aft 1694 just came available. Both are Junior Suites and trying to decide if we should switch.

Aft looks a little narrower with a smaller closet, will require a little more walking, but has a huge balcony. Plenty of pics found online.

Hump looks like it might have a larger than normal balcony. I can't find any actual pics of 9328 balcony.

Pics of 9328 would be appreciated.

The hump doesn't increase the size of the balcony, but it's ample for 2.....and the hump is SO convenient! If you want the deeper balcony and the long walk to go with it, switch!

We like being near the stairs and elevators, as it makes running back and forth to the cabin a breeze!

We just got the Navigator in November and had 1694 aft. If you don't mind the long walk the huge balcony is worth it. Great views of the wake. I'd grab that cabin unless you can't handle the extra walking. Our attendant was super.

We do like the convenience of the elevator, but might need the longer walk after visits to the MDR and Windjammer. :D

if you go to cruiselinerooms dot com and look up Royal Caribbean and then go to Explorer which is a sister ship to the Nav, there are pics of that room. Hope that helps.

Another vote for 1694.

  • 4 months later...

We loved 1694 and the huge balcony! It's at least 13'x13'.

Furniture has been updated from MM's pic above.

Now looking for a great cabin on Liberty since she is coming to Galveston. :)
