Anyone see this dog on the beach?

When we visited Grand Turk last May, this dog appeared and made his home under our half-shell. He never left our side until we packed up and headed back to the ship.

Anyone ever seen him there before? Know his name? We'll be there next Tuesday and hope to see him again.

No it's not Topher , he's a labradoodle, or full poodle, long messy hair.

Thanks (and for the correct spelling). I do seem to recall a dog that looked like the one in the pictures hanging around Jacks a couple of years back being fed a hamburger or something. Guess I thought it the same dog.

We were in Grand Turk Feb '14 and will be there again in about 3 weeks.

While we hung out on the beach last year, this friendly fellow stayed with us most of the day. Does he look like the same dog? While I was shopping I noticed that a lot of the shops had a donation bucket for the humane society there. It seems that most of the dogs get sterilization and vaccinations.

Happy Travels everyone!

We were there in Dec. and there was a dog like the one in the original post. BUT there were lots of dogs on the beach.

When we were on our tour into town, we saw a large sign begging people to spay or neuter their dogs. Last year they put down 1000 dogs (yup, that's what the sign said)
