grandgeezer Posted January 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2015 I don't know if this helps at all, but I was on their sister line, Celebrity the end of November at domestic beers went for $5.50 each, $6.33 with gratuities added.

cb at sea Posted January 23, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Almost as expensive as an NFL game....a 16oz beer is about $9.00! It's total price gouging....used to be about $2.50 plus the 15% tip. Edited January 23, 2015 by cb at sea
siestaclaud Posted January 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2015 We bought the reusable coolers at the bar, and they were buy 10 get 2 free. We did that a few times, and put leftovers in the mini fridge. Our room steward filled our cooler with ice again for us one night and we chilled the mini fridge beers up well that way! I am sure you can find that special somewhere on your ship. Yes - beers are cheaper than at a baseball/football game - not cheap for a whole week - but it wasn't horrible. grandgeezer Posted January 25, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2015 That is why I will buy a drink package :-) That's why the only drinking we now do, on board is the free ones we get for being Diamond members.
JasonV1 Posted January 25, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 25, 2015 The prices aren't much different than any other U.S.-based hotel/sporting venue. I. Not saying I like them, but it is what it is. If you only otherwise drink at home or your local bar then yes, the drinks will seem expensive. There is a reason why you can usually snag an inside cabin for less than about $700 (sometimes much less) on any ship/any sailing, and it is because they make good profits on alcohol and other things on the ship.
