Rare Miaminice Posted January 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Hello fellow cruisers: Can anyone tell me the current prices of Beverage Packages when bought on board. I am particularly interested in the prices for the Wine Package ( x number of bottles) and the Soda Package. Are they the same price on board as listed on the website in US$? The reason why I am asking: OBC is sold as a gift in units of 25$ for a fabulous exchange rate to Euro. So I am thinking about buying OBC and getting the packages on board. Thanks for your help!!! When I log into my reservation and click on beverage packages I only see the latter price, not the 'online' price. I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks by purchasing prior to my 9 night upcoming cruise. Thanks, Pat
jelayne Posted January 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2015 The lowered online pricing was discontinued quite awhile ago. Prices for beverage packages are the same online as onboard.
Rare Miaminice Posted January 28, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Thanks everyone! This will be interesting for all the cruisers coming from the Euro-Zone. I just bought 525 US$ OBC which I will use for the packages I want to purchase on board. I was charged 384.30 Euro. That equals an exchange rate of 1.366 vs. about 1.097 used by Celebrity on their Euro online pricing.
Rare steamboats Posted January 28, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 28, 2015 I don´t remember where I once found the online prices and when ! But the onboard prices are the current ones from our recent Eclipse cruise (I do have the flyer next to me). So, obviously jelayne is correct that they have discontinued the lower online prices. steamboats
