What to do in Grand Cayman?

I have already booked an excursion for swimming with stingrays when we dock in Grand Cayman! However, our excursion is from 8-11 a.m. and we are unsure of what to do after 11. Any recommendations? There is a group of 15 of us going and it happens to be one of our birthdays so we want to make sure it's a great day!

Thanks for your time!

I've done stingrays three times and loved it every time. We found shopping near the port, of course. We also walked to the Post Office once to send the kids postcards with stamps that had the Queen on them.

This trip we're doing the Turtle Farm, never done that before.

Are there beaches close (walking distance to the port) or will we have to take a cab somewhere? If so what is the best beach around the port? Are there bars located close to the port as well to just hang out at until the ship departs? Thanks for the help!

Lots of bars and restaurants near the port as it's right downtown.

Taxi or bus to Seven Mile Beach. (see the ton of other threads for more info)

We booked outside of the ship and booked Captain Marvins. We did the full combo. Stingray, 2 stop snorkel, tour with Hell, and Turtle Farm.

It was wonderful! We still had a few hours left over where we could have done a beach but were tired and went back on the ship.

The turtle farm is really cute (we just did the turtle part, the full access is an all day thing). There is not a whole lot there and we had it done in 20 minutes. The turtles are in these tiny octagon tanks. That being said, it was the highlight for the kids.
