Toiletries on Caribbean Princess

Preparing to leave for our first Princess cruise! Do all ships provide basic toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc)? Is it any good or should we bring our own? Thanks in advance!

Shampoo is currently a mix of shampoo and conditioner that many people feel is not up to snuff.

 

Soap bars are provided. There is also a body wash in the shower, but you can ask the cabin steward for another soap bar to use there.

my wife prefers her own. She does not like the mix. Luckly we drive to the ports and don't worry about airlines. I know you can bring a small container. For me they work for the few days I will be abord.

We used the provided toiletries. No one threw us over board from the lack of hygiene so I think they worked fine. :)

The little bars of soap are fine but you probably want to bring your own shampoo. As previously posted, princess provides a shampoo/conditioner combo that isn't very good.

I bring my own, decanted into travel containers, put them in Ziplock bags and check them. They stay in my checked luggage between trips and I just refill them. The soft water does a number on my hair, don't need to add to it with mystery products.

I found the body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and bar of soap all to be fine however, I have very long hair and brought additional conditioner.

I usually have a bottle of conditioner in my Dopp kit leftover from a hotel stay. I don't mind the shampoo in the dispenser, but my hair needs a separate conditioner. I usually bring a full-size bar of soap since the little one they provide is so little.

I agree, bring your own, the new supplied stuff is terrible. :(
