US website

Hi hoping someone can help. Someone on here showed me a way of accessing the website in the US once rather than the UK one and I can't remember how.

 

We're looking at the Enchantment of the Seas out of Port Canaveral on July 19th for 3 nights and the UK price is extremely high but apparently there is no availability for 3 in any cabin. That may be true but seems hard to believe so thought I'd check it over there. We need two cabins as there are 6 of us in total. Alternately we could have 3 cabins x two but the UK a price is so expensive it doesn't make sense to book. Thanks.

This should work. You can change the country in the top right corner.

You would need to use a VPN app like tunnelbear. It blocks your IP address so you can access sites from other countries that try to redirect you.

 

While the price will be different you won't suddenly find that here are cabins that can hold 3 if there are none available in the UK.

That won't work as the geo location stops it displaying the total price. Tunnel Bear is your friend. I'm from the UK but nearly always find it better to book via the US

I use Tunnel Bear and admittedly haven't tried it but have all your bookings this way been successful?

I just use it to check the price then use a US TA so I haven't tried an online booking with RCCL. Once booked I use it to check for price drops - I also use the price drop www that you will find mentioned on the forums

Oh fair enough, I thought you meant you booked with RCI directly.

 

Tunnel Bear works great and is very easy to use once downloaded. In honesty, I mainly use it to get up to date info which is slow to be put on UK/other RCI sites! I don't check prices as I won't use a US TA!

It is entirely possible that there are no 3-paqssenger cabins left. Summer cruises on Enchantment are very popular for Quinceaneras tour group celebrations, and those cabins go fast.
