We always tip and would tip especially in that situation (comp lunch). But thats just us.

To each his own I guess. That would be one situation where I would really qeustion whether they get any kind of gratuity.

No different than if you paid for that specialty restaurant meal. They are in the tipping pool and no part of the regular upcharge (if paid by you) is a tip.
