cruisegirl1 Posted February 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Just took a look at the RCCL site for the differences in a large OV cabin and a few other categories. I did this for 2 different ships for upcoming cruises. Well, the OV photo shows what appears to be the accessible OV cabin. Of course if you read the description, the sq. footage is noted and the fine print does say that the photo is only a representation BUT.......it seems a bit deceptive. I know better and realized that this photo is nothing like the standard OV cabin, but I can only imagine the shock when new cruisers open the door and don't see the huge sitting area and floor space. Wish I knew how to copy and paste the photo. Lesson to new cruisers - READ the cabin description - don't just go by the photo! M
Ladysilver Posted February 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I've noticed that also. Seems like a simple fix so why don't they?? :p
cb at sea Posted February 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2015 The photos are shot to look larger than they really are. I don't think 1st timers realize how TIGHT a cabin can be! They show the cabins in the best possible light...otherwise, folks would be afraid to book them!
Beachcampin Posted February 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I also get tired of seeing the pictures of sailboats on Coco Cay that they used to have but they have refused to repair after spring break last year.
