Want to make sure I have everything in check

Booked a cruise for 3 people, 2 of them have passports, I will have birth certificate and non-drivers ID

So besides bringing passports, birth certificates, ID, and set sail pass, luggage tags, anything else I need to board?

 

And I know I already asked this, but I just want to be super sure, if all 3 of us are 18 and above, it doesn't matter that we have different last names right even though we are a family. This question goes for flights and hotels as well.

If you're all 18 or over, you don't even have to be family. You could be perfect strangers traveling together. :)

Is the non-drivers ID a government issued photo ID? If it is, then you are all set.

it is issued by dmv and yeah it has my picture on it

The birth certificate needs to an "official" one. It can't be a copy or the "keepsake" variety. It must have a raised seal stamp or whatever your state uses to make it "official".
