TentOnWheels Posted March 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Head on over and read my review of hanging out just at the port - we wouldn't have traded a thing - it was PERFECT! http://tent-on-wheels.blogspot.com/2015/02/tent-on-wheels-on-water-spending-day-in.html
simplelife Posted March 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Thanks for the helpful review. We'll be on the Victory in June and this will be our first time in Cozumel. Very excited about exploring the places you mentioned.
JohninDC Posted March 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2015 Glad it worked out for you - we prefer to hop in a taxi and head to the Money Bar for great snorkeling, or to one of the many beach clubs.
RobinKY Posted March 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Great pics...We did the beach day in Cozumel last time and it was pricey. I am thinking we'll just tour the port area next time.
mrsfuzzmo Posted March 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Next time, (if there is a next time) you should consider getting out of the man-made-for- tourists port area and see some of this lovely island. The downtown is really fun, the east side had GORGEOUS beaches and some really fun beach bars/restaurants. The locals are so friendly as well. Just a super easy place to tour around on your own. I hope you go back someday and explore! :)
Rare crewsweeper Posted March 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2015 YEPPERS!!! That's got DW and SIL written all over it. Both hate dealing with the taxis and the hawkers and the crowds on the beaches. Me? I'm hanging with mrsfuzzmo :D:D
